Dear Lois,
Hard to believe it has been seven years since your visit to Denny's
Woodland hills. so much has happened since then. I was surfing the web which I seldom do and found the article you wrote about your visit to Denny's. The last I wrote to you you had moved to Florida. After all this time I do not know if this E-mail address is still valid but I thought I would try. In this life we live we go through our daily routines and interact with people never really knowing if we make a difference, and we go on daily. When you wrote your article about our meeting it made a difference to me. It made me realize that just being myself in my daily routines I can make a difference. Yes all these years later I am still with Denny's, I went into management And have tried to make a difference in that area, I have a wonderful crew of people working hard all the time trying to make a difference. Our meeting stays with me and has made me realize that one by one we all make a difference to one another, we have the choice each and every day to reach out and try to make someones day a little better. It takes so little to mean a lot, A smile, A few kind words. The day you came into Denny's it had been a rough day, but then you stopped by for lunch, we shared a little conversation a laugh or two and here we are seven years later, I read your article and it puts a smile on my face again. Thank You Lois you still make a difference.
